Most people react to painful emotions like anxiety or depression with aversion and resistance. But, aversion only makes things worse and actually prevents the recovery and resolution of anxiety or depression. Healing and resolution occur only when you can fully embrace your emotional pain with this compassionate awareness that we call mindfulness.
